The Chino Senior Center offers a variety of fun and instructional classes open to the senior community. Please stop by and enjoy the classes offered at the Senior Center.
Membership is not required and all residents of the surrounding communities are welcome.
- Art Classes
A Watercolor Art Class and Multi-Media Art Class are offered at the Senior Center on Friday mornings.
- Cardiac/Diabetes Health Education Class
Presented by the American Heart and Stroke Association, facilitator Linda L. Nichols, BS, BA, MA CNC, Health Educator/Nutritionist. The class meets every Wednesday, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center-Craft Room and covers the causes of diabetes, healthy eating, exercise, and goal setting.
- Computer Classes
Introduction to the computer and commonly used software programs. Learn to navigate the web, email, create documents, phone apps, tablets, and much more! Advanced registration is encouraged. Spanish classes available.
- Dance Classes
A variety of dance classes are available for seniors 50+, such as:
- Chinese-Style Ballroom Dance
- Line Dance - Beginners
- Line Dance - Intermediate
- Fitness Classes
A variety of fitness classes are available for seniors 50+, such as:
- Aerobic & Strengthening Exercise Class
- A.F.E.P. - Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
A low-impact, chair-based exercise program specifically designed for those with arthritis.
- Tai Chi Class
The training includes the integration of body, energy, and mind. Tai Chi Chuan originally was a form of martial arts.
- Yoga Class
- Zumba Class
